Nominator's project description

Professor Bruce Reed is an international authority in combinatorics. He is best known for his groundbreaking contributions to graph theory, with many of his most important discoveries being in the areas of random structures, graph minors, and graph coloring. During his stay in Germany he will continue his research concerning structural problems in graph theory and combinatorial optimization.
